Focus The Nation

I chose to go to watch an Inconvenient Truth. From this movie I learned what a huge problem global warming is. I learned about the ice bergs melting and how that causes a huge problem for animals such as polar bears who survive and live off of the ice. The melting ice bergs are a sign of our planet warming up and fast. Another thing i learned was about the mountains. It showed pictures of a mountain years ago compared to today. A mountain completely covered in snow years ago was almost all dry in a picture from recent years. Another thing I learned was the carbon dioxide levels continually going up especially in very recent years. It slope has gotten very steep in the last few years.

In the classroom I could incorperate global warming into my teaching by learning about the history of global warming. My concentration is history so students can research the topic and make presentations on how global warming has been studied in the past and what is going on around the world. Why is the earth heating up and why is it heating up. It can be a very interactive project to research and find out more about.

Good job on this assignment. 4/5 due to errors in mechanics of writing: it's not clear the purpose of the phrase "and fast" at the end of the fourth sentence; "I" should be capitalized; this is not a complete sentence: "Another thing I learned was the carbon dioxide levels continually going up especially in very recent years."; "It slope has gotten very steep" should be "Its slope"; "incorperate" should be "incorporate"
