Chapter 2

In chapter two a girl talks about how her math teacher comes into the classroom wanting everyone to learn math. She doesn't really like how he teaches but she likes his attitude about it and that makes her want to learn. She talks about how if the teacher is real and the student is real then a good learning experience takes place.

I really likes this statement because from past experience I really learn better when the teacher is real and down to earth with the class. It sets the tune for the whole classroom. I want to learn from someone who wants to teach me. Being real with a class is really important to me because it makes a good atmosphere for the classroom. It is always important as a teacher to be yourself and love teaching and actually want the kids to learn.
